What UNBEHAV is
UNBEHAV is an anonymous local community feed on a world map: short text thoughts and replies tied to an area (country, city, or district). You may optionally attach a link to a public social post (for example on X, YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok). There are no private messages, no image or video uploads, no public profiles, and no random pairing. UNBEHAV is not directed at children under 13. At first launch, the app asks for a date of birth; if you are under 13, you cannot continue.
Zero tolerance
We prohibit any content or conduct that involves child sexual abuse or exploitation, including but not limited to:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — sexual content involving anyone 17 or under, real or fictional
- Grooming, solicitation, or sexualization of minors
- Links, instructions, or facilitation related to the above
- Any attempt to use the service to contact or exploit children
These rules are also in our Terms of Use (including “sexual content involving minors”). Violations can lead to content removal and device bans. We may contact law enforcement or other authorities where the law requires or permits it.
How we reduce risk
- Age screen — under 13 cannot use the app
- No media uploads — thoughts and replies are text; there is no camera roll or file upload for posts
- No private chat, profiles, or stranger matching — only public place feeds
- Community rules before first post — you must accept the rules (including the ban on sexual content involving minors) before posting
- Abuse controls — rate limits and bans keyed to the install, so clearing local state does not freely evade limits
How to report
In the app: long-press a thought or reply → choose a reason (including sexual content) and/or use Report illegal content → submit. The content is hidden for you immediately. You can also Hide this author so their thoughts no longer appear on your device.
By email: contact@unbehav.com — our contact for child safety and CSAM concerns. Include a link or content id if you have one, what you saw, roughly when, and how we can reach you. We prioritize these reports.
How we respond
- We aim to review reports within 24 hours; child-safety reports are prioritized (volume can delay review)
- We may remove or hold content that breaks the rules
- We may ban the installing device for abuse
- We keep records as needed for legal process
- We may report CSAM and credible threats involving children to the appropriate authorities where required or appropriate under applicable law
Related policies
Product rules and privacy practices are also described in our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. We operate under the child-protection laws that apply to us where the service is available.
